Coming from Dialpad

Their AI coaches a sales floor. Ours writes down what you promised.

Dialpad was doing AI on calls before most of this category existed, and doing it well. The difference is who it was built for — and whether that matches the room you are sitting in.

In their favor

What Dialpad does well

They were early to real-time transcription and coaching, and it shows: live assist, sentiment tracking and analytics built for a manager watching a queue of reps. That is years of AI running on live calls in front of paying customers — tuned against real floors, with an organization to call when it misfires. If you run a sales floor or a support team where coaching and scorecards matter, it is a genuinely strong product built on a track record we do not have.

Where the fit differs

01

Coaching a rep versus finishing the job

Their AI is aimed at improving how a call is handled while it happens. Ours is aimed at what happens after it ends — the commitment written down, assigned to someone, with a date. Both are AI on calls; they answer different questions.

02

Sold to a sales org, priced like one

Tiers, seat minimums and annual terms make sense when you are buying for a department. A five-person trade business ends up in a plan designed for a floor of reps.

03

The dashboard is for a manager, not an owner

Analytics assume somebody whose job is watching the numbers. In a small business the person who would read that dashboard is the same person who was on the call, and they need the follow-up, not the scorecard.

What moving actually involves

Numbers port out normally. Check the term on your plan before you start — annual agreements are common here.

Comes with you

3
  • Your numbers, main and direct
  • Your contacts, imported
  • Service until the switch date

Does not

3
  • Transcripts and call history stay with Dialpad — export what you need first
  • The coaching setup — scorecards, sentiment thresholds, the way a manager reads that console — is rebuilt rather than migrated, and it is tuned to Dialpad
  • CRM integrations are set up again rather than migrated

Straight answers

Different, and theirs has been in production longer. Dialpad’s is strongest during the call — live assist and coaching, tuned over years against real sales floors. Ours is aimed at after it: what was agreed, who owns it, by when. If a manager coaches live from that console every day, they are using something that has had those years to get good, and switching means giving that up.

Probably not. Their product is built for exactly that, and the coaching features are the reason people pay for it.

That is the case this page is for. The question is whether you are using the coaching layer at all, or paying for a floor-manager product to answer the phone.

No. History stays with the provider that recorded it, in both directions.

Our pricing is not published yet, so anyone answering that with a number today is guessing. And a total against theirs is not ours to claim in any case — what a Dialpad bill comes to depends on which plan and which add-ons are on it, and only your own bill answers that.

If nobody in your business is coaching a queue of reps, the coaching platform is not the tool you needed.
