Keep your number
Bring the number your customers already know.
Porting is free and your line keeps working the whole time. Nothing goes dark, and nothing on your van, your cards or your Google listing has to change.
What is different here
You know where your port is, every day of it.
The complaint about porting is never the waiting — it is the silence.
Six states — draft, submitted, documents needed, accepted by the carrier, switch scheduled, done. You hear from us at every move.
- Your line keeps working through every one of them.
- A rejection comes back with the carrier’s own reason and what to fix.
- When it runs longer than expected, we say what is holding it up.

Not on the list? Almost certainly still portable — these are just the ones people ask about most.
Before you start
Every detail has to match what your current provider has on file, exactly. A shortened street name or a missing apartment number is the single most common reason a port is rejected.
- A recent bill from your current provider
- The account number as it appears on that bill
- The account PIN or passcode, if your provider uses one
- The account holder name and service address, written the way they have it
Straight answers
About a week is what to expect. Most of that is your current provider responding, and no phone company can speed that up — so it is an expectation and not a promise, and anyone giving you an exact date is guessing. What we can do is tell you where it stands the whole way, including when it runs long.
No. Calls keep coming to your old line right up to the switch date, and then they arrive in qallin instead. There is no gap in between.
Nothing. Porting is free, however many numbers you bring.
After the port completes, never before. Canceling early releases the number back to the carrier pool, and once that happens it can be gone for good. This is the one mistake in porting that cannot be undone.
Yes, any time. It is your number — we hold it for you, not hostage.
No. Your history stays with your old provider; the number moves. Contacts you can import, and from the switch date everything new is recorded in qallin.
Usually yes, including a personal cell you have been using for the business. Once it is in qallin, work calls come through the app and stop reaching you at midnight.
Almost always a detail that did not match the old provider’s records. You get the reason, we correct it and file again — a rejection costs time, not the number.
